Viewed from the back, the base aligns seamlessly with the backrest structure, giving the illusion of a single, continuous element.
The concept of a red piece grew out of a desire to contribute to a world that feels like it belongs in a classic Almodóvar film, where reds define the space. chair II, with its different lines and shapes, proved to be the ideal piece, as the strong color does not overpower the design. The use of satin wood oil preserves the natural visibility of the oak grain, keeping the wood’s presence intact rather than covering it.

La silla II, con su base en forma de L, genera un efecto de suspensión que hace que uno se pregunte cómo se sostiene la pieza. Al mismo tiempo, la leve inclinación del respaldo suma comodidad sin perder la delicadeza del perfil. Vista desde atrás, la base se integra con naturalidad a la estructura del respaldo, dando la ilusión de ser un único elemento continuo.
La idea de hacer una pieza roja nació del deseo de crear un objeto que remita a ese universo que podría aparecer en una película clásica de Almodóvar, donde el rojo define el espacio. La silla II, con sus diferentes formas y líneas, resultó ser el soporte ideal, ya que el intenso color no eclipsa el diseño. El acabado a base de aceite de lino protege la veta del roble, manteniendo visible la presencia de la madera en lugar de cubrirla.
